This is the place where I will pass along the progression of my training in the sport of Ultrarunning and hopefully correspond with fellow Ultrarunners.
I am an Ultrarunner. I started running in 2006 and finished my first 100 miler in June '07. I am looking forward to a lifetime of running, and can't imagine how I have lived this long without it.
I am thinking about running my first 100 sometime this year. I am not sure if I will be able to commit enough time to training with work and school. I wont make any decision until I run LBL50, I can't even think about 100 until I know I can finish 50.

Dude, you CAN! Come run the Burning River 100 with us in August! Here is my whack logic which some people like. If you come out to run a 100 and don't finish the first time because you weren't totally ready yet, is that really a failure? Or a valuable learning experience to help you get ready for one next year? I mean, if you ONLY go 60-70 miles, could you really say you failed? I wouldn't. Come take a whack at it. I am registered for the BR100 and will probably sign up for the Mohican with the idea that I can drop anytime and be happy that it is in training for the BR100!
Thanks for checking out and commenting on my blog, I will be checking yours now too.
By the way, for one year I went to UC and ran all over that city!

Mike is correct. You can run a 100 the key is to just keep moving. Start out slow and ease off.
The 50-mile LBL will be great training for you. I think this is a wise decision. You will be fine. You are doing well in the 50ks
Mike and Rob
Thanks for the support guys! I am going to go for it, see you guys out there!
And once you finish LBL, you need to start thinking about Mohican!!!
I went to college at UC, but I was not a runner then. Sometime I want to run the Pig.
