I am not sure if I am going to run at all this week before McNaughton on Saturday. I feel really good right now and I think I could have a really good race, plus I would like to do some pacing. Ideally I would like to run 70+ miles a McNaughton, this would give me confidence for Mo. But I will have to see how things work out, the main goal is just to finish the 50 miler, I will go from there.

HEY! I didn't know you were running McNaughton. What is your game plan?? You need to have some goals for this, especially considering the weather, and what your plans are for the Pig coming up. Would you rather run more miles at this?
Given I don't know any of your crazy racing plans, I would recommend running 100K (especially if 50 miles is your goal race for this, 100K would be a nice lofty goal--despite whether you could go farther) and rest for a bit and then maybe pace someone a bit later in the race?
IMO, based on my very small race history of 1 100 miler, it would be good for you to run in the wee hours of the night. So, by volunteering to pace in the wee hours, even tired, might be good for you.

Thanks for the advice Kim. That is pretty much what I have in mind. I am not going to push too hard for the 50 miler and hopfully I will be able to find someone in need of pacing during the night.
