5 miles 7:34 pace

I let a little rain scary me away from running outside today. I settled for a nice tempo run on the indoor track. It felt good. I opend it up on the last mile, ran it in about 6:20, that felt really nice. My calfs are still dead but I am managing.
This is a picture from Lovin' the Hills, I look sweet running with that banana.

I have been looking at your training and it looks like you are more than ready for this 50 miles. You look like you are a strong runner and you have definitely put your time in for the race you will be running.

Rob,

I appreciate that. I am looking forward to this race, and looking forward to seeing you blow past me on the course. See you in a few weeks!

sweet picture! I like the shirt especially. I have been really off pace not running too many miles because of a "twinge" in my knee. I don't have any pain, but just that kind of feeling that is telling me to be careful. It is KILLING me to lay off, but I know it is smarter than pushing it into a real injury. I might try 5 easy miles tonight before going to bed.

I go back out flying tomorrow with a crazy busy day, scheduled to end up in Telluride, CO (one of the towns the Hardrock goes through...) Unfortunately I land only one hour before sunset so there is no hope for a trail run (gasping for air no doubt....) unless something happens where I have the morning off there.
